The
Department of Posts will issue a commemorative postal stamp in the memory of Sahir Ludhianvi on March 8, 2013, the 91stbirth anniversary of the legendary poet. It is in recognition of his contribution to literature,
poetry as well as the Hindi Film Industry.
The President of India will formally
release the commemorative stamp and the first day cover at a function in Rashtrapati Bhawan.
